Re: Recruits 2024-2025

Meh, maybe he is a lifelong Lafayette fan and this has been his dream from childhood. If he has an affinity for Lafayette we can assume Lehigh wasn't truly on the radar anyway. I wouldn't count on a Lafayette -> Lehigh transfer. Big waste of talent but more fish in the sea. Q-town's Fred Retter was...

Re: Wrestlestat

While I certainly understand they are not the most reliable rankings, after this past weekend, they have Beard at 3rd at 197, and Big Nate at 7th at 285. They also have Stanich ranked 3rd, though still not as a starter. Also, Lehigh has jumped to 11th as a tournament team ranking Intermat has had u...

Re: Week-End Salvo

I agree with Oracle. You want to build an invincible army? Then don't expect schools that can't compete to hang around as your punching bags - tradition or no tradition. And I would expect PSU would welcome LU back if/when the former returns to earth, and the tradition can then resume. Hence the ol...

Re: Cornell Dual

Local kid, a STATE CHAMP from ND, flips his choice from Cornell to Rutgers. WTF,..he's in our backyard yet NO mention of Lehigh in his recruitment process! https://www.lehighvalleylive.com/highschoolsports/2024/01/notre-dame-wrestling-state-champ-smith-flips-commitment-to-rutgers.html Bummer...

Re: Beast of the East

I don’t see the Heavyweight Lachman beat even ranked by flo? How did he get #1 seed with Kinney entered? Yeah, I don't get that either. Neves, Effendian, Dellagatta, and Kinney are all ranked top 20 by Flo and Clatterbough is not. All I see is he is a 2x VA state champ. He wasn't the 1, he was the ...

Re: Griping

DF: you are a tad too sensitive. I’m merely posting my opinion — not even saying you shouldn’t be griping. Just pointing out an opposing view. Why do you take such offense? Maybe that’s a YOU problem? If you support the program then you’re ok in my book. As long as the "programs" or "...

Re: Pissed Off In Iowa

I get where you guys are coming from. I do. With Penn State dominating, stock-piling recruits, and winning everything in sight --- it gets me rooting for Iowa. IMO, Tom Brands is a high integrity guy so I disagree that he "flaunted" the rules. They work hard for their kids, program and Un...

Re: Nick Knustek

**** How tall is he and what is his walking around weight. If he is seriously thinking about the NFL especially as a Def or Off Line player he better be at least 6 foot height wise. From the video I have seen, where he is wrestling 152 or thereabouts, which means he probably walks around about 175-...

Re: Interesting signing

Funny but if you look at Carter Neves instagram he is in Lehigh singlet in one picture, so must have seriously cosidered Lehigh at one point....... Neves is from Sidney, Ohio which is the greater Columbus area, might just have wanted to go home? And yet here we are, in arguably the best District fo...
