Re: Building on Success
Best option is prepare Hines to bulk up for 149 & let Stanich jump into 141 next year assuming he can beat Bailey. Bragnola likely to redshirt so 157 could be a 1 year need. Any of your 1 year grad AS potentials fit there. No need to bring in a 141 transfer as we are loaded at that weight. It d...

Re: Building on Success
I believe Stanich will be a force at 141. He cut an unbelievable amount of weight last season from above 141 & he is growing. It is only a question of strength not talent that could hamper him. But this is a focused kid that is hungry to wrestle. He & Crookham are the Caruso/Peritore of our...

Re: Columbia Head Coach Opening
There have been people who sold all they own to by lottery tickets. And won, Very few people. So of course some people who went to for profits have been success. It was 10,000s of thousands of jobs at Fortune 500. A little bit more than some people. Lehigh is lucky if we now place 200 grads per yea...

Re: Transfer portal
My guess (in order) * Quality of work-out room partners and coaches at future destination * Quality of conference competition to prepare for NCAAs * NIL package * Grad program Justafan, in my view, is a good guy who does not see the playing field here like some others of us do. No harm in that. As ...

Re: Transfer portal
If I were looking to leverage money and outcomes, I would go for Alirez. National Champion at 141. Allows for a training partner for Crookham and Stanich. Stanich then for sure redshirts and Hines if he wants to make the lineup moves up to 149. Then you have potential for back-to-back National Champ...

U.S.A. still has to QUALIFY 57K/65K in Turkey. https://www.themat.com/news/2024/may/01/u-s-team-heads-to-istanbul-for-pivotal-world-olympic-games-qualifier-may-9-12 Appears Ramos will represent the Philippines, and a rematch with Spencer Lee is pending. :o Hate to say it, but 65kg might miss...

"I think it will be Stanich, Bailey, TRANSFER, Hines in that order" Say what? Think now grasshopper, learn later. Stanich...contingent that he grows to 141 and Pat lets him fly. Bailey....if Pat does not. TRANSFER...if Pat actually goes after one, but not expected. TRANSFER Alirez if Pat ...

University of Phoenix? Strayer University? LOL? You find that funny that someone seeks an education and that enough of them get jobs that it outranks other schools. Yes, they are likely getter lower level jobs, but nonetheless, they are getting jobs as college graduates. Let me educate you up on a ...

There are at least 60 graduate degree programs. Less fluff, but many grad assistant coaches historically enrolled in MBA, or now the option again of Master's in Management or School of Education, fewer into College of Engineering. There are options for any college graduate with degree in hand for gr...
