Re: NLWC Results

The other thing that's often missed is that a college 125-pounder has to hold that weight, making it repeatedly, for nearly five months. That means wrestling weight is a lot closer to true weight than for a freestyler who only makes weight a handful of times over the course of a year.

Intermat Top 100 list -- Class of 2021

Intermat updated its list yesterday. More than 30 are shown as uncommitted but IM is usually slow in showing commitments. For EIWA teams, I see these Top 100 commits: 13. Ryan Sokol, MN, 145, Cornell 18. Dean Peterson, NJ, 120, Princeton 28. Cooper Kropman, NY, 160, Cornell 34. Nico Nardone, NJ, 126...

Re: Enzo Morlacci- Committed

BTW -- regarding Class of 2021 commitments -- Intermat only lists 99 commitments total for 2021. 2020 had 689. So it's not just Lehigh that doesn't have many.

Re: Enzo Morlacci- Committed

Wrestled for 145 most of the last season at Kisco. 46-21 career with 32 falls. His final bout this past season was on 1/29; I can't tell whether he missed the balance due to illness or injury.

Re: 2021 Roster

I'm confused. Was Shayne Van Ness the whale, or was Rutgers unhappy that Van Ness committed to PSU? Could be both, but doesn't have to be.

Re: Simon Announces Resignation

Alice did such a terrible job at Lehigh that she was offered the presidency of Imperial College London (#9 university worldwide).

Re: NO WRESTLING in PA until GOV CHANGES POLICY

Gov wolf 's policy limits indoor sporting events to 25 individuals. If wrestlers (before and after matches) are in another room, would they count?   "All sports-related gatherings must conform with the gathering limitations set forth by the Governor’s Plan for Phased Reo...

Re: 2021 Roster

Last week the NCAA granted an extra year of eligibility (and an extra year to complete it, which is a different thing) for fall sports. https://www.espn.com/college-sports/story/_/id/29712267/ncaa-votes-give-extra-year-eligibility-division-fall-athletes They seem to be making decisions at the last p...
