Re: Top 10 Lehigh Wrestlers All Time

Jon would have been joined Burley & Caruso as our only #1 seed 1st NCAAs If I catch your meaning (since I don't seem to understand there's no difference between first and fastest), Burley was #2 seed at his first NCAA tournament in 1979. Did not the Wizard of Yoz have a Movie, A ook, and a song?
Don't know about that, but Toggas has parties named after him.

Jon Trenge was the first Lehigh wrestler to reach 100 wins.
I'm sure that comes as a surprise to Pete Yozzo (101-13-3 lifetime record).
He meant fastest (and subsequently edited it as such)
Can I go back and edit my Physics 11 and 21 exam answers? It would help my GPA.

Mookie beat you to it on that one.
I know I wasn't the first but it seemed JDA hadn't seen it.
Actually, I thought of it before your post (which I love, btw) but I didn't post it at the time.

Re: State Finals - Cerniglia/Lawrence

Problem is, Humphreys has ruined it for the new guys. The fans expect someone to win big right away now.

Re: Week-End Salvo

I've wondered how many men have remembered that they're married during the past month. Also expecting a peak in births around the holidays.

Re: State Finals - Cerniglia/Lawrence

The crowd sure didn't appreciate the outcome. Ref called the stalemate pretty quick, imo. Lawrence had some wrap on a shoulder -- he'll fit right in on our team.

Re: Things to Come?

Covid is a convenient excuse. They dropped a sport that doesn't produce revenue and isn't played by women. 25 years ago Liberty dropped wrestling (the first time) just before school started. Don Schuler was the coach and he found himself out of a job on no notice. Liberty was going bankrupt at the t...

Imagine the disappointment for our equestrian/dressage athletes.
I imagine the horses aren't disappointed at all.
