Re: How a Spring Patriot League Schedule Could Work
Might the Colgate-Georgetown game be at Bucknell. May be more central The Mar 20 Lehigh - Colgate game is after Daylight time. So Sunset is at 7:00PM. A 3:00 start would be OK. But essentially good job That's interesting about Gate/GTown at Bucknell and would mean there would only be one "doub...

How a Spring Patriot League Schedule Could Work
Problem: Patriot League schools want to have zero overnight stays and have all the games done via bus rides. Solution: Play far-flung Holy Cross and Georgetown home games either in Patriot League or Ivy League venues. Here's how it could work and all the games would be bus rides. Holy Cross would ha...

Re: Transfers are not a trend.
The way transfers are currently being implemented in the NCAA is nothing short of a disaster. There are so few limitations on this free agency [which is what it is] that it is comical and almost begs kids and families to make rash, uninformed decisions based on athletics only, not academics. Even pr...

Re: RIVALRY
To put things in a little bit of perspective, Lehigh: * started the 3rd string QB on the preseason depth chart * started 2 healthy OL from the preseason 1s on the depth chart * Starting preseason all-PL WR1 and productive freshman WR3 out * Missing productive RB in the transfer portal and who knows ...

Thanks for the heads-up, folks. It's a really busy week for me this week (obviously) but I will look into it.

Re: SHU
The chance of Gilmore and the offense opening up the playbook this week has to be close to zero. I usually am not an advocate of rotating QBs, but maybe it's worthwhile in this case to do so? Alternate possessions with Shoup on one series, Bees on the other. Of course the challenge for this OL to ha...

Re: Nate Hope
Pretty sure that most of these kids put there name in the portal all well knowing where they are already heading. It strokes there ego if they get other bites. Is this illegal recruiting, absolutely...Another part of this portal game is that not all kids get offers and can end up back with there or...

Re: Bucknell
Any path to a successful end of the season - or perhaps more than that, if Holy Cross stumbles - is 100% contingent on a win in Lewisburg. The question is how deep this team is going to be. I don't think Hill makes the trip.

Re: Redshirting
Woffard? We should approve redshirting because Woffard allows it? Oh boy. Not just Wofford. All schools except the schools of the Patriot League. It doesn't matter if they're colleges or universities, non-scholarship or scholarship. They either make a mockery of the rules (Ivies), or they offer the...
