Re: Lehigh Lafayette

Think back to Whitehead's version of the Wing T.QB had that option on most plays.QB could hand off or if DE crashing keep it and run or pull the ball and pass to the other HB in the flat or downfield. Gotta love the old Wing T! [/quote] They say that the memory is the first thing to go so forgive t...

Re: Lehigh Lafayette

How about we put the QB under center and let tailback start to run at snap instead of standing like a statue until QB takes snap does a little danc3 and hands off just in time for DL to get penetration Another better option for sure. Again, I'm not an offensive guru so help me. If we start the QB u...

Re: Lehigh Lafayette

And the rumor mill is revving up. So much speculation about staff and players. One more thought . I wonder why we didnt run a Wildcat set as was done with Colvin. An ideal way to run read options and good fits for Shoup and Beesmer. Was it lack of time? Bodies? Dunno but certainly an option fo...

Re: Lehigh Lafayette

Lehigh Defense finished 9th in country of 96 FCS teams in total yards this spring. Very young unit with almost everyone back. We knew the OL was going to be a challenge with the opt outs for the spring. TG is only in his 2nd year and he had some culture he needed to change. The spring season was pr...

Re: Lehigh Lafayette

Tough L. Ugh Glad this season is over. Team did get better as this extended Spring season played out. Today. We killed ourselves, particularly on O with so many penalties. OL a bit more cohesive at times but again another patchwork version. Between injuries and starters opting out there was little t...

Re: Lehigh Lafayette

Some flashes on O but overall very painful to watch. D really missing Buckhram at S.

CW might be real good behind a solid OL. He is not a runner or that mobile.
