Re: UCD Post Mortem

The problem has been defending the pass. What was/is new in the secondary that would have made us think pass D would get better? It's been challenged for years ... Perhaps the first few games have provided learning experiences that will help the team come PL play. That is one advantage of playing b...

Re: UCD Post Mortem

Point being Lafayette is roughly equivalent to Muhlenburg so worrying about them gets you nowhere. It's only the older LU alums that care about them. I can't believe I'm responding to this or am going to say this (maybe it's the hour), but how much better, honestly, are some other teams in the PL?

Re: LEHIGH VERSE NOVA

Guess whose Total Defense is now ranked No. 42 in the nation? LU's 380 yards per game given up, so far, is way ahead of the past few years of defensive abominations, where it ranked among the worst few teams in Total D. Hopefully they can keep it up. BTW: Dusquesne was No. 1, Villanova 27, St. Franc...

Re: Lehigh. SFU

When a blocked punt and scoop was your only TD again a mediocre team and when it might be the highlight of your season ... This could be much worse than last year, if that's possible. Maybe the D will snuff the run. It played tough and aggressive for the most part. I liked TMH's analysis. I was hopi...

Re: Colgate and Villanova

Nova UC Davis are reaches for us this year but nice to see on the schedule. 3 NEC games is surely overkill. :D No real upside for us .A W is nice but expected usually. An L is news and not in a good way. I can't help but think -- again, and you all rag me about it -- that if the PL can no l...

Re: Colgate and Villanova

Just because Villanova dominated Colgate doesn’t necessarily mean they will dominate Lehigh. Even in years when we had one of the worst defenses in all of FCS, we had some pretty competitive games with them. Given our new coaching staff and schemes, it will be interesting to see how we match up. I ...

Re: Predictions. Starters for game 1

Lots of returnees/experience/individual talent.

Can they work together in individual units to make things happen?

That's the big question.

Re: LFN: It's High Time Lehigh Football Got Murray Goodman Stadium some Lights

The idea of Lehigh and Lafayette actually working together on their football schedules -- and maybe more -- makes a lot of sense. Why not market 1 p.m. and 6 p.m. double-headers to the community? Convenient for recruiting. Other sports could be like that, too ... Do Moravian and Muhlenberg have ligh...

Only possible reason that Sterrett isn't asking for $2M to do this is that Alumni a lot older than me don't want to drive home in the dark
If we don't get undergrads going to the game now they certainly won't be going when they're alumni.
