Re: Assistant coaches ...

If all these assistant moves are verified, looks like D staff is getting a major shakeup!

Should be fun to see what happens in the fall.

Re: Ayir Asante to Holy Cross

This is a recruiting model used by Ivies- get them on campus for weekend and close them on site with Mom and Dad there. Nice for the universities, but it puts a lot of pressure on the kids (perhaps not as much this time of year). Hopefully they are really sold on Lehigh, not just pressured into mak...

I remember the old days when the line-ups were posted on the wall where the scoring table now is. It was the very first thing we looked at when we came in. Of course there was a lot more maneuverability back then.

That may be the Bucknell match you are referring to.

Re: Tom Gilmore.

Based on what I've heard, TG is a great, demanding coach who loves his players (in some respects like AC). But you've got to have quality top assistants. They're not easy to find, but when you find them you can win (then they leave). AC and TG have that in common.

Re: Assistant coaches ...

Not to disparage anyone but what does a tight ends coach actually do at Lehigh? It is sorta like being the guy who is responsible for checking the rain gauge in the Sahara Desert. The tool is there but we rarely use it. I had similar thoughts. Several other good ones on the fairly vanilla O. Could ...
