Update on Rafe Perich Per the Morning Call RAFE PERICH, NORTHWESTERN LEHIGH Northwestern Lehigh is off to an 8-0 start and the stat sheet is loaded with eye-popping numbers. Rafe Perich’s numbers might not be as impressive as many of his teammates, but that’s only because the senior is just getting ...

Re: Lehigh Lafayette

I'm really not sure when we used the Wing T or how much we used it but this thread has made me go back to that era of football. Things have really changed. The Fred Dunlap era did not start off well at all. He certainly wasn't left with much but until the arrival of Kim McQuilken for the 1971 season...

Re: Jack Wilt

I think the problem is that this has been a very strange and short season for NJ wrestling. Some schools wrestled little. There were very few head to head matchups and sometimes even common opponents. Wilt is somewhat of a strange phenomena. He wrestled at 160# last year. Comparisons are tough when ...

Re: Lehigh Lafayette

Think back to Whitehead's version of the Wing T.QB had that option on most plays.QB could hand off or if DE crashing keep it and run or pull the ball and pass to the other HB in the flat or downfield.
Gotta love the old Wing T!
They say that the memory is the first thing to go so ...

Re: LU Lower Weights 21-22

Also, Ammerman. Is there any chance Humphreys goes to 165? Would open things up a bit down below I don't see it but I prefer he stay at 157, if possible and let stiff competition work itself out in the lower weights. Otherwise we are watering the middle weights down by forcing Lawrence up to 174 an...

Re: LU Lower Weights 21-22

With a year (although abbreviated) under their belts, I think that Bryant and Lawrence are going to surprise people, assuming that 149 is doable for Bryant again.

Honest question. How do they differ except that there are 2 different groups trying to make the same subjective decision?

Is there certain criteria that one uses that the other doesn't?

Re: Lehigh Lafayette

How about we put the QB under center and let tailback start to run at snap instead of standing like a statue until QB takes snap does a little danc3 and hands off just in time for DL to get penetration Another better option for sure. Again, I'm not an offensive guru so help me. If we start the QB u...
