Re: No effort. Collapse in The Rivalry.

Chalkeye, I don't disagree with you about the play call but you did understate the tight end's stats for the season. He had 14 catches for 140 yards including one that went for 46 yards. He had three catches in Saturday's game. I don't know if it would have changed anything this season, but i think ...

Re: Hoyas

These are not excuses but they are facts. Because of injuries and defections from last year's team, the dbacks are all first years and sophomores. The o line has been a revolving door for most of the season. Three different guys have played left tackle, three others have played center. The current l...

Re: Merrimack

Merrimack is no pushover. They were ahead of Holy Cross at the half last week. They beat Holy Cross two years ago. No Patriot League team has done that recently.

Lehigh can't go up there thinking "they're just an NEC team."

Re: Villanova

I agree that winning the opener is important. But beating a D3 school isn't going to make the team feel good about itself. Until the team is better, why not open with NEC or Pioneer League schools. As Coach Cahill said, Villanova is faster, stronger and older than us. That's true of most of the CAA ...

Re: Spring Practice

It was not a game, at least while I was there.
Two observations:
1. The defense appears ahead if the offense as spring camps ends.
2. Silbor seems ahead of Perri at this point

Re: 7 in a Row!!!!

I was at that game. It was packed...and heart-breaking. Lehigh lost 59-56. A couple of 3 pointers that would have sent the game into overtime just missed.
Only three times all season did they score in the 50's and they had beaten Holy Cross twice that season, but not that night.

Re: 7 in a Row!!!!

According to the record book, (which is on line) the longest winning streak is 11 games. They did it twice: Most recently in the 2015-16 season and way back in the 1925-26 season.
