Re: The Reason for Struggles?

I agree with some of the above poster's comments but.... I don't recall many major transfers other than recent graduates who took their Covid year elsewhere as grad students; Evan Taylor(Vandy) and Nic Lynch (san Diego). As to recruiting I think Brett and Harry recruit as well as anyone in the leag...

Re: Navy

81--65. Over 40% from 3. Ella's out of her slump. Albrecht and Behar started tonite instead of the transfers. Hit 50% of their shots. Lots of assists ,few TOs. 1. I think both of the transfers were not available to play tonight, so it may not be clear whether Albrecht and Behar simply started becau...

Re: What's wrong with LU MBB?

First...it was nice meeting you last night. :-) I'm reminded of the old adage that every once in a while, a blind squirrel will find a nut. Basketball can be a funny game. Bucknell beat Penn State by shooting an astounding 58% from the field including 48% from the 3. Those games happen. Both were w...

Re: This Program Is An Embarrassment

1974-75 was the first year of the ECC. The above is correct on the teams in the western division. I believe the east that first year consisted of American, LaSalle, Saint Joe’s, Temple, Drexel, Hofstra, and West Chester. A few years later, West Chester said they were dropping out of D1 in MBB and s...

Zambie btw played a couple years of Plano West, then re-classified when she transferred to Greenhill. She originally was in the class of 2023.

Re: Monday Night It Kicks Off in the Dome

I'd take Lehigh and 30. Would anyone give that to me? I think 30 is way too much, and that is far more than the actual line will be. You have to remember that this Syracuse team is not like the traditionally strong Syracuse teams. They had an overall losing record last year, and lost three of their...

Re: Gilmore Contract

On other threads, I've seen a few posters ask questions about or make reference to Gilmore's contract. I have no inside info, but I think it's possible he is just on a year-to-year contract. This Lehigh Valley Live (Express-Times) article from 2013, has the following two paragraphs in reference to ...

Re: EIWA signing of note

= Doesn't matter if it's an NCAA by-law or an NWCA agreement but it's been agreed for a very long time. Bison must be a private investigator; I sure haven't found any official school releases that repeatedly mention an individual signing Keep in mind all the social media releases like HawkNation - o...
