Re: Columbia Head Coach Opening

I'm not sure "in shambles" is too strong at the moment. If I look at the Ivy League at the currently. Cornell is in a remarkable place right now. After that Princeton is in a state of transition, that hasn't really produced as of yet. Columbia is losing coaches and wrestlers to the portal ...

Re: Columbia Head Coach Opening

I'm not sure I understand you post.

Mark Hall who until about a week ago was a coach at Penn (not Penn State, where he wrestled). And yes, he moved over to the Oklahoma staff as I posted.

The Ivies, except for Cornell is in shambles.

Re: Transfer portal

I have zero inside information but both Haines and Kasak have had enormous success at Penn State and seem attached at the hip to the institution. Speaking of David Taylor, didn't Oklahoma State bring in Hamiti earlier this year? Perhaps OkSt may not be an ideal landing spot for Barraclaugh. Just a t...

Re: No Juice

I think LU has done a better job of developing wrestlers than CU in recent years. CU has recruited more high school superstars and has overall out recruited LU by a wide margin, yet LU has kept up with CU on their dual meets and EIWA's This is where I become the villain :-) Although you will get no...

Re: Transfer portal

For the sake of discussion, why not Kasak take his redshirt year, Bartlett returns for his final season (since Starocci and Kirkvliet have already announced they are coming back) and Van Ness and Kasak split 141-149 the next year. Of course, Penn State will continue to bring in top talent in the mea...

Re: Transfer portal

TYLER KASAK not a Free-Agent yet but he might be the ODD man out in Penn State's MURDERER'S-ROW next year with the return of VanNess. Unless he believes he can beat him, or Bartlett at 141. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LeO4h5WFL98 BECCA graduate probably had Lehigh on his short-list prior...

Re: No Juice

Perhaps I missed it before but Flo has Vaughn Spencer now ranked in the Top 50 (actually #44) which is quite an accomplishment for someone who had his sophomore season end due to injury, doesn't wrestle freestyle to my knowledge and whose HS doesn't enter many of the high-caliber tournaments. I thin...

Burke Chebuhar

Burke, who came to Lehigh as a PWO, has now committed to Notre Dame for his graduate year.

He had a great senior season and I wish him all the best at Notre Dame
