Re: 6 More Days

Heard through the grapevine that the St. Joe's scrimmage last Saturday went well for three quarters and then the team ran out of gas in the 4Q and made a ton of bad decisions which is bound to happen early in the season. In any event, they were up big through most of the game but held on barely in t...

Re: PL Title

I agree. No use complaining about the officiating, however, I was not just referring to the Patriot League. It is uniformly bad in every conference!

Re: PL Title

Tough one. Looked like they had it under control but turnovers again, especially in the 4th quarter, did them in. Gaffney dominate (18 of 22) and they were on top in most of the statistical categories except the one that counts. That said, this team should get a lot of credit for how they battled al...

Re: PL playoffs

Great team effort especially on defense. BU is a really good offensive team with multiple weapons and LU really clamped down. Gaffney was stellar and the difference in the game. They still turned the ball over a few too many times but they made the plays when they needed them. They deserve a lot of ...

Re: Holy Cross

BU it is after they beat up Bucknell. It will be a tough match up for our defense against BU's first team All PL attack duo - Burr and Gray. This is where they are really going to miss Bouhall and Hagenburger. Hopefully they can get back to playing their disciplined zone because I don't think we mat...

Re: Holy Cross

Thanks to Navy for beating BU and allowing the Hawks to back into the #2 seed. Turnovers has plagued this team all year and the offense has gone south since the Loyola game (the game vs. St. Bonaventure doesn't count). Defense has been shaky as well and young Spence in goal has not played particular...

Re: Bucknell 12-10

Yes, unfortunately this team is going in the wrong direction at the wrong time of year. I was not able to watch the game but saw the stats. Dominated on face offs and shots but their goalie was better than ours. Can't comment on the quality of shots by either team but a save percentage of 40% won't ...

Re: BU 18. Loyola 11

Unfortunately there is no way this team gets an at large bid after losses to Hofstra and RMU. The only route to the NCAA tournament is a Patriot League Championship!

Re: St. Bonnies

Great opportunity to let a lot of the supporting players get into a game but that team in their first year was not in the same league as RMU. We need to get back the intensity that we had during the six game win streak. The loss to Loyola was deflating which probably carried over to the RMU game. Th...
