Re: Burley-Land 1979

**** D3: Your mention of the 1981 Nationals at Princeton brought back a memory. I was there with my buddy Eddie Michalyra, (Beth. Steel buddy). We were waiting for the Finals and we saw something going on behind some partitions on the far side of the mat and decided to investigate. To our surprise A...

Re: Time for a change?

**** Sorry about the confusion of the wrestlers Brad was going against. A lot of visits to the room over a lot of years, during the tenures of Thad, Tom Hutchinson, Bob Latessa, Greg and Pat. However, I still remember vividly how Brad was intensely upset at losing to the other 2 wrestlers and how he...

Re: Time for a change?

**** I remember an early trip to the old wrestling room. Brad was a frosh, at around 135 lbs or so. Near the same weight was Toby Fagan (NJ) and another frosh (not sure, maybe John McCumber (OH) or Dave Esposito (NJ)), not really sure on who. They were going 3 round robins (2 on and 1 off) for about...

Re: 2021 Line Up

**** Like most posters here I have only seen Haga on video, (with the exception of one trip to wrestling practice). My next comment is going to be from deep left field. Haga is on the short side for a Hwt. but he is extremely strong. A deep left field would be a comparison to 125 Nathan Tomasello. H...

Re: 2021 Line Up

**** Lacombe looks pretty good, but still a work in progress. Haga looks fairly short to me. Chakif and Moore, I haven't seen much of yet. Hopefully they will progress with another year in the program. Jordan will be a hard act to follow.

Re: Lehigh Awards

**** That story was on the WrestlingReport.com, Lehigh Forum many years ago. As I recall Mills immediately made weight when he arrived and the match was not until the next day. He ate/drank/re-hydrated and was 12+ lbs over 118 at match time. I was at the match and as good as Bobby Weaver was, Mills ...

Re: Lehigh Awards

**** I agree with everything said previously about Jordan. Additionally, he is a true gentleman and an excellent example of a true student athlete. Whenever I would visit practice, he would come over and shake my hand and thank me for supporting Lehigh and the wrestlers. He is truly a Class Act. Ble...

Re: Chris Weiler transfer?

**** Mh1 said "Wisconsin". What makes you think that? Do you have anything to back it up?

Re: Line-up questions

**** Finally someone posted a potential Lehigh Lineup and not more about Cornell. Thanks JDA and Mookie. 125: Paetzell: for his senior year. Resnick backing up and Seymour Redshirting. 133: Farro: did well and will be back for his senior year. Lane is good, still needs to muscle up. Munch Redshirt. ...

Re: Line-up questions

**** Fernandes looks like he wrestles like Josh Humphries in this video. He likes to ride high and use arm bars and traps. I also saw him on a Youtube video against the Harvard Hwt., who placed 2nd at the EIWAs. Fernandes took him down and then pinned him in about 2 minutes. He looks pretty darn good.
