Re: Fordham

I've got a buddy who went to MSU who is a big fan. He gets me to watch some of their games. You should be in for a treat. Very good ballclub.

Re: PRINCETON

Thanks for the info, LFNAdmin. I appreciate the time you took to put together that good info. You made some great points, but maybe I missed something ... We have a friend playing JV at a DIII school, and I'm aware if some DII schools that have them (along with a million kids on their roster). I jus...

Re: PRINCETON

I still don't get the Ivy thing. Ten years ago Ivies still could give afford to give every kid a full ride -- based on need, right? What's changed? They're letting in kids that never would have gotten in before? We were competitive then. Ivies have no red-shirts, either. (I think lack of red-shirts ...

Re: PRINCETON

After today's debacle, Lehigh's supposedly "much-improved" defense is now ranked 115 out of 124 FCS teams in Total Defense. Colgate is third in the nation in Total D and first in scoring defense: 4.6 points. #noexecuses BTW: Why was Woetzel, it looked like, still in a blowout game when his left hand...

Re: PRINCETON

Andy’s quote from the Morning Call: “They’re just a better football team than we are, clearly,” LU coach Andy Coen said. “And there are reasons why they are. When you look out and their 3s [third-string players] are beating our 1s [starters], that pretty much says it all. Give me the scholarship mo...

Re: PRINCETON

I'm writing with 5:13 left, 59-7. Announcers: "Princeton is almost getting a first time every times in run the ball it seems." "It doesn't matter who's in the game." I've watched most of this game and wouldn't even know how to break down this game. I can't remember an era where Lehigh has been blown...

Re: PRINCETON

LFN is quite optimistic.

I'm not.

I'll take Lehigh and 15. Could be long day for D, and consequently O if Brags can't get 125+.

Re: PRINCETON

Agree with Rich H ...

Elephants are never forgotten when there are consistent blowouts (even against good teams) and losing records. We're not there ... yet ... this season.

Give these guys a chance.

Re: How The Ivy League Is Able To Break the NCAA's Scholarship Limits and Still Consider Themselves FCS

Good piece.

Last year a kid shared with me a mass email he got from Harvard encouraging football players with 1000 or more on their SATs to contact the coach. No joke.

Was the PL better off offering financial aid only? (Maybe not if we remember when Fordham offered schollies before the rest of us.)
