Re: ALL PL TEAM

The league's seven coaches vote for this, right? So if one more coach voted for Hamm than Woetzel, that decides it? Can coaches vote for their own player? I'm trying to understand why It's not Woetzel. He really deserved it.

Re: RIVALRY

I know that injuries are part of football and not an excuse, but Rosen was knocked out for the season in the opener, Burbage goes out for the season in game 5, Monaco in game 9. A DB and an RB leave the team during the season. Starters on the OL missed games as did Hill. Maybe we were lucky to win 4...

Re: RIVALRY

There were two freshmen on the OL this year. They will be better next year. We need a QB and depth at RB and WR. The defense loses its best player (Woetzel) plus McCloskey, Wilson and Morrow but the D coaches are outstanding and they have a lot coming back. I think there will be further improvement ...

Re: Bucknell

Lehigh has played Bucknell more than any team other than Lafayette. Saturday is the 83rd meeting between the two. This year's L-L game is number 155

Re: Merrimack

I'm a glass is half-full kind of guy so I'll post only about what I liked about yesterday's game: - The improved defense had six sacks and forced two turnovers - Special teams got their second blocked punt of the season - Zaythian Hill's 60 yards on 4 carries - The quarterback change Next week will ...

Re: Lehigh. SFU

The offense left the defense with no margin for error. When the D allows only 14 points Lehigh should always win.
The offense has a long way to go. The QB underthrew many open receivers and there was no run game.
The next two opponents are far superior to SFU. An 0-3 start is almost guaranteed.

Re: B&W GAME

Shoup and Beesmer stood out as QBs. TE Alex Snyder may have had more catches yesterday than our combined tight ends had in 11 games last year. LB Pete Haffner played well. The defense spent a lot of time in the offensive backfield so the OL has some work to do. There are tough decisions to be made e...

Re: Semi Sunday.....LU and Others

Not that it would have changed anything but the Morning Call story says Karnik was hurt in practice yesterday and the swelling intensified during the game. This season was disappointing. Injuries left us with no depth. I don't think we drop off as much next season as some on this board do. Cohen mad...

Re: Game 29/18 - LOM

I think it comes down to the injuries. Andree, Karnik, Bennett, and while not an injury, Marques Wilson being out has left this team with no depth. I agree that Andree is probably a concussion. Karnik went out with an ankle according to radio guy. Hopefully they are back Thursday or at least for a s...
