Re: LU 11-10 over Army

LU re-enters the national rankings at #19 after Saturday's big win. Georgetown comes in at #5 and will be a big test. Their goalie has a save percentage over 63% and their primary FOGO is winning 66% of his face offs. Possessions and limiting turnovers will be key. We need to clear the ball better.

Re: LU 11-10 over Army

A tremendous team win. Defense was outstanding and the offense was very good in the 1st and 3rd quarters to create enough separation to pull out the win. Honestly, if not for sloppiness and problems clearing the ball in the 2nd and 4th quarters, Lehigh should have won by more. Army got a number of g...

Re: LU 17-7 over Holy Cross

Army will be the true test followed by a really tough game against Georgetown. Army's defense is really good, however, the interesting thing is that Marcus Hudgins, the PL preseason defensive player of the year and I believe first team preseason All American, has not played a game so far this season...

Re: LU 11-7 over Navy

Good team win after a slow start. It was good to get Kirst back but losing Schelling hurt. Hopefully he will be back next week. After all of the injuries, this team can’t afford to lose anyone else, especially on the offensive end. Goals are hard to come by. For continued success, the defense is goi...

Re: Injuries

Unfortunately the news gets worse for the Hawks before the season even starts. Starting attackman Cole Kirst suffered a miniscus tear and had surgery on Friday. He will be out 4-6 weeks. Both Sidorski and Tiernan are lost for the season with ACL injuries. Those three combined for 56 goals and 33 ass...

Injuries

Two of Lehigh’s Top Scorers Out For Year Lehigh’s depth will be tested at the midfield after season-ending injuries to juniors John Sidorski (11G, 21A) and Justin Tiernan (19G, 4A) in the offseason. Sidorski was first-team All-Patriot League in 2021, and both were projected to lead Lehigh’s first li...

Re: Rutgers

The Lehigh article incorrectly states that Spence and Tangredi were second team AAs. Per the complete list, they were both honorable mention AAs. Still quite the accomplishment. Leggett should have also been on that list in my opinion.

I stand corrected. Either way, it was a long time ago.

Re: Rutgers

Mike Sisselberger named a first team all American. Lehigh hasn’t had one in over 100 years. Tremendous!

Rutgers

Great season. The team should be proud of what they accomplished this year. The game was closer than the final score indicated. At the end of the day, the offense was out of sync without Schelling and Kirst was terrific in goal for Rutgers. Spence was as well and kept us in it. We just could not get...
