Re: Huge Test @ 133
While DeAugustino has placed a couple of times, he's not wrestled like an AA this year....hence his low seed. Stanich, on the other hand, is a rising star. Unless something drastic happens, Stanich will, advance to the quarters.

Re: Week-End Salvo
"Of course Stanich defers next year. Regardless of his placement this year, he needs the to year to grow into (and acclimate to) the new weight class." >>>>>>>> It's not as obvious to me as it is to you. Think about it. Is Lehigh is such a position to leave 20 NCAA points on the shelf? Whi...

Re: KEEGAN O'TOOLE
O'Toole is probably the most deceptive looking guy in the tournament. Looks like Opie, wrestles like The Rock.

Re: Week-End Salvo
It's become rather obvious Luke Stanich will not return to 125 next year. But let's say, just for the sake of discussion, he were to win the title at 125 this year. Do you defer a returning NCAA champ? He's seeded to make the finals, so it could very well happen. Deferring him to return in '26 at 14...

I agree. Bailey is a dangerous, but so are several other guys. Not a guy to 'fear' -- just a guy you bring your A-game to. Teske will be tough in R2.

Re: Week-End Salvo
A roller coaster ride, but with minimal dips. An unbelievably positive season on all fronts. Even the weights where we didn't excel produced the following: Jake Logan qualified for the NCAAs, Conor Herceg showed tremendous grit and made LU fans proud of his effort, Jack Wilt developing and gaining v...

Re: End of an Era
Excuse me if I'm wrong, but don't they still award Ivy League diplomas? No red shirting has been gotten around. Financial aid has been gotten around. Lack of transfers will be gotten around. The selling proposition is an Ivy League degree. Period. The end. Joe Dubuque should be given a chance to gro...

To HFO: I believe you have just provided the inspiration for a new banner for the Caruso Complex wrestling room: “DO YOUR BEST” — and should be flanked by a photo of Rob Rohn’s winning ‘go big’ move to win his National title as a reminder to everyone aspiring to greatness never to give up.
Well done.
Well done.

Re: Brackets 8pm Wednesday
But Rich, you are making my point -- if he wants to win, will it be any easier if that 3rd bout was in the finals?
You got's ta beat all the best guys to win. Vito is one of the best, if not the best when he is right.
"Beating someone 3 times is hard."
Yup.
