[Phantoms] Phantoms Announce 2018 Development Hockey Camp

Brennan February 14, 2018 Lehigh Valley, PA – The Lehigh Valley Phantoms, proud AHL affiliate of the Philadelphia Flyers, are pleased to announce they will host a week-long Development Hockey Camp at the Steel Ice Center in Bethlehem beginning Monday, July 16 and concluding Friday, July 20. ImageThe camp, which is open to Mite, Squirt, PeeWee and Bantam youth hockey players, will feature appearances by Phantoms’ Assistant Coach Kerry Huffman along with Phantoms’ Manager of Hockey Operations Bill Downey and Phantoms players, including five-time AHL All-Star T.J. Brennan. Registration for the Phantoms’ 2018 Development Hockey Camp is open HERE. This challenging, fun-filled camp experience will develop young players’ power skating, puck handling, positioning, offensive and defensive tactics, speed training, and more. Lunch and drinks will be provided each day and each participant will receive a special Development Hockey Camp jersey. Winners of 10 of their last 13 games (10-2-1), the red-hot Phantoms return to PPL Center for a pair of games this weekend. First, on Saturday, February 17, Lehigh Valley welcomes the Hartford Wolf Pack to downtown Allentown for a 7:05 p.m. showdown. Saturday’s game is Go For Gold Night as the Phantoms will hit the ice wearing specialty jerseys highlighting each player’s home country. Then, on Sunday, February 18, the rival Wilkes-Barre/Scranton Penguins invade PPL Center for a 5:05 p.m. clash. Sunday’s game is meLVin’s Birthday Bash as we celebrate everyone’s favorite puck-nosed pladottle along with a host of meLVin’s mascot friends. The Phantoms will once again take the ice in their specialty Go For Gold jerseys, which will be auctioned off in The Morning Call Club immediately following the conclusion of Sunday’s game.
