Above all else, Barjaktarovich is a gamer. As a sophomore she helped Richmond win the state title and last season the Blue Devils were runner-up. Barjaktarovich played all but three innings as shortstop last season. “Defensively, I don't think there is another short stop that can compare in range, base coverage, arm strength and accuracy,” coach Howard Stuart said. “Her toughness and knowledge of the game is unmatched.” A four-year starter, Barjaktarovich signed with Lehigh. Last season she led her team in batting average (.538), stolen bases (42) and on-base percentage (.600). Barjaktarovich made three errors in 113 chances (.973). Through 18 games this season, Barjaktarovich, the leadoff batter, is batting .636 with four doubles, three triples, 13 RBI and 16 stolen bases. Her on-base percentage is .671.
Simply put.......WOW !
