Piching, at least vs good teams, is less than effective.

Unfortunately for LU, their three games next weekend are against the unanimous preseason pick for #1, Boston U. I guess that gives them a chance to make a statement - but it won't be easy.

The LU site had this note, which shows how well LU has done over the years in PL softball: "The three losses against Bucknell mark the first time ever that Lehigh has been swept in a Patriot League series of three or more games. "

Read it. Fran is missing a dominant pitcher.for a variety of reasons so far this year. Without her it will be very difficult to fashion a winning record. Hopeful that one of the pitchers is able and does step up going forward.

Fran hasnt had back to back losing seasons since 98-99. In fact he hasmt had any losing seasons since then.
