Game 1
We took a 3-0 lead in 1st. It is now 9-3 for Army.smh.
I know we have a very young team but the lack of pitching is killing us.

Final. Army. 11-3. smh

Feel for Fran and the team.In a perfect world Sorem would be at least duplicating her dominance of her frosh and soph years. Sadly she is no longer able to be that pitcher. Boyd a solid #2. Nori has a lot of potential as a frosh.
Tori Fletcher will help here next year but for now we are what we are, a young team in need of pitching.

Game 2

LU 4-3
Chesson gets the game winning single break the 3-3 tie.
Nori kept us in a very tight game. Very nice W.

The team is better than its record. The younger players show great promise,

Pitching is mixed and preseason preparation needs to be improved including fitness.

The talent, particularly in the frosh and soph classes is outstanding. Not to dis the juniors at all.
Softball is a game that mandates top pitching over all else. We lack that this year. The top PL all have that one stud pitcher. With 3 game sets odds are you will face that stud twice. Nori hopefully will develop. Next year Fran has Tori Fletcher from Mayland. She is a big power pitcher. Optimistic.
