Read in the Call this morning that she is retiring from softball with 2 years of eligibility left. Recurring leg injuries were cited as the main cause.
This answers the questions we had during last season. We now know why. Feel for Ms. Edwards, clear from the article that softball has been a big part of her life. Not an easy decision.
