Just to add a little detail (not a whole lot available). Brooke hit .472 her freshman year and was named 1st Team All Conference. I have no stats for her sophomore season but she was named 2nd Team 6-A All State in Virginia.

Although she wasn't the #1 pitcher on her team, she has been clocked at 65 mph which is nearly Parker Boyd speed.

Cannon went 22-1 with a 1.10 ERA and 212 strikeouts and batted .552 with seven home runs and 31 RBIs to become Kellam’s first All-Tidewater Softball Player of the Year since Stephanie Kemp in 2007
