Final
BU 8-0
We had more errors (2) than hits (1).
A good run over the last part of the season. But overall a very forgettable year. Onto next year and hopefully a return to competitiveness.

Interesting we measure a good year by being ""competitive" even though we were in the PL Championships.

LC measures it by not losing more than 70% of their games (in any sport M or F).

I think this season can best be described in terms of mediocrity.
We finished one game below .500
In a league of 7 teams, we finished 4th in hitting (BA), 4th in pitching (ERA) and 4th in fielding. That is about as "middle of the pack" as one can get. In addition, we finished 5th in power (HR). The fact that we finished 3rd in the regular season and 2nd in the tournament is solely due to the growth in Parker Boyd late in the season.
My hope is this serves as an impetus to train harder and smarter in the off-season.
Although Fran will certainly not decide on a lineup until after the fall season and the early trips in the spring, where everyone will get a chance to show what they have, I think we will see several new faces emerge next year. The really early front runners seem to be..
1B Kittell
2b Carley B
SS O'Rourke
3B Gerhart
OF Rabago, Edwards, MH Smith
DP will always be up for grabs
P Boyd, Sorem and hopefully some depth between Stephenson and Chesson

I'm waiting to see who makes the big jump next year. There are a lot of possibilities.
