New coaches

Back-to-back PL champs 2016 and 2017.... but need to get back to relevance in the national FCS scene.

I dont really fancy myself as anything other than a fan. But,I do get your point about the difference between HS and college time commitments. Given his background, hard to say he was unqualified to be a WR asst here. Certainly an odd situation. He comes all the way back East for the job at his alma mater and then quits.
Are you saying that McGorry was fired because of his race??

A disaster?? A bit early to judge but I guess you concluded that the day he was hired.
TG was not my choice for the job but he was Joe's choice. Joe has done fairly well hiring coaches during his time. So I'll go with his decision and root for our team to prosper.
Dont have any 1st hand info yet about Braswell. As I said a very odd situation.

Just so you know. Most of the WOs on our roster are offered.. I report the offers that I find. Being offered does not mean you are receiving a schollie. There are a number each year that arent officially announced but who have received offers from us. Those kids will be added to the roster in the Fall .

My opinion of Kashurba stands. Holy Cross D was well coached. Players rarely out of position good tackling. The real issue for Cross. was no 2ndary speed.and very little depth. Kashurba is a marked improvement over the parade of DCs we've had over the last 6 years. While I think well of Coach Sutyak, he was out of his depth as DC.

As to your LV "everyone knows" info, I dont have any facts but I will.

2005 Holy Cross 6–5 3–3 4th
2006 Holy Cross 7–4 4–2 3rd
2007 Holy Cross 7–4 4–2 2nd
2008 Holy Cross 7–4 5–1 2nd
2009 Holy Cross 9–3 5–1 1st L NCAA Division I First Round
2010 Holy Cross 6–5 4–2 T–2nd
2011 Holy Cross 6–5 4–2 2nd
2012 Holy Cross 2–9 2–4 4th
2013 Holy Cross 3–9 1–5 T–6th
2014 Holy Cross 4–8 2–4 T–5th
2015 Holy Cross 6–5 3–3 4th
2016 Holy Cross 4–7 2–4 6th
2017 Holy Cross 2–5 1–1 Fired after 7 gms

Never a successful head coach? I wasn't jumping for joy on his hiring. But "never" is a long time. I personally know nothing about Tom Gilmore, but he has been successful several years at Holy Cross. The race thing? As alums and fans we would like specifics on how you know that particular personnel decision was race related. "All over" doesn't cut it......

On to some actual news. :D
TG announced staff.
Noonan LB
Dimichele. RB/ST
Borich. DL
Zarkoskie. OL

Reisig, Ward and Cuevas are back.
Kashurba and Brisson as coordinators.
Spring practice is finally here. With any luck and some eyewitness reports we may get some glimpses of of TG's vision for Lehigh next season.

Shawn Glosek has been hired as an Offensive quality control Coach.

A local guy. Whitehall HS played at Delaware Valley as OL. Assisted at Kutztown.

Not really sure what his position entails as a Quality Control Coach. :D
