COMMIT #5. ERIC JOHNSON
COMMIT #5. ERIC JOHNSON
WR 5'10 170. Seven Lakes HS. Texas
Columbia
A back up on team last year but performed well in his appearances. 7 games, 12c,169y, 14.1 avg, 1 TD. 2 r/94y,1TD
Perspective. HS varsity roster is 129 players.
A sprinter on the track team. Mostly relays.
Videos are impressive. Very fast. Catches in a crowd. As Coach DiMike said. He comes down with the ball.

Re: COMMIT #5. ERIC JOHNSON
Last year van. DE from Texas.
On offense. We did have a QB verbal quite a while ago. He flipped to West Texas St. I think.

Re: COMMIT #5. ERIC JOHNSON
I didn't know they played HS football in TX
The coaches obviously saw something they liked at camp. Explosiveness may be part of the equation. He did have a couple of big plays in the time he was in (an 80 yd run and a 65 yd reception.
Note: Seven Lakes best player last year was a WR heading to Oklahoma next year. This may be Johnson's year to shine. Certainly worth keeping an eye on his progress.

Of note, I saw for the first time the other day, that there is 8 man football in Pa HSs. But it is not PIAA, it is preps,
I think 9 man football is in more states than 8 or 6
