Colgate

Back-to-back PL champs 2016 and 2017.... but need to get back to relevance in the national FCS scene.

Quick note - this game is being televised on the Stadium Network, so you can watch it on TV in markets that have that channel over-the-air (such as Scranton/Wilkes-Barre and Baltimore) or if the channel is carried by your cable provider (I'm not in the latter group anymore; Verizon FiOS pulled the channel about a year ago.)

Gut wrenching win. Can't make this kind of script up.

Lehigh 21-14.
A great game. Monaco and OL started out shaky but settled in. Scored 14 unanswered pts for the W.
The 99 yd drive was the best we've had in a long time.
As OL settled down run attack improved. All 4 RBs had plays today. Zay Hill the TD for the W.
D had a few lapses but iverall played a very good game.
Gilmore still over coaches on the sidelines.

2 things, Stadium is the worst broadcast network ever, just terrible, even worst than the Bison broadcasts and Brisson must have read my post to put Monaco under center, other than the one play they ran right at Wheeler that formation was pretty successful all day, WRs getting depleted a concern

One thing appears to be true, we have some real talent at RB. With any kind of line play, they will get their yards.

In regards to the OC, please explain why we did not run the bootleg again. Monaco waltzed into the end zone untouched on the 2nd TD. Monaco has to run more to prevent the defense from crashing down on the RBs. This will help the online out.

Always good to beat 'Gate! Defense really dominated! Not sure the last time (if ever) 'Gate had 9 yards rushing in a PL game. Clinches the decade series at 7-3 and perhaps more impressively Lehigh has won 4/5 in Hamilton. To be fair, Colgate is really bad. They have serious problems on both sides of the ball.

Gilmore definitely has this team playing with an intensity. There's clearly flaws but Lehigh's athleticism (especially at the skill positions) should pay dividends in league play. After how bad last week's game was I figured they were doomed with Breneman back. Unlike last week, Monaco played really well after another ugly first quarter. If it were me I would have given Shoup a shot after Monaco nearly got Bibbens killed.

Getting HC and Georgetown at Goodman could be huge. Need to get past Fordham. The Rams have really had Lehigh's number recently. Glad there's another bye first instead of a 12th game.

I think that 12 FR had meaningful contributions to this win, bodes well for the remainder of the season and next few years as they continue to develop, one or two more good recruiting years should get us back to the top of the heap
