Georgetown

Back-to-back PL champs 2016 and 2017.... but need to get back to relevance in the national FCS scene.

How could their O be “awful” and “very sound” at the same time? It was great win. Not sure I understand why we didn’t target the tight end. Kid is a stud. Big, good hands and good speed. We need to use all the arrows in our quiver to reach our potential on the offensive side of the ball.
agree ... except ... O is awful

I'm not sure he will play at the next level but Gunther Johnson is a very good FCS QB and a very very good Patriot League QB. He minimizes mistakes and is capable of burning a team deep, like he did to Lehigh in the last two minutes of the game. All game I was worried that he was going to pull the ball on the read option and go 56 yards for a TD like Demorat did last week, but he didn't. That's about the only quibble I had on his game, and that simply might have been good Lehigh D coaching to take away that possibility.

Just my opinion but I'm giving credit where I think credit is due. The ball that Johnson threw on their last drive was put in a place that would have been very, very difficult to defend. Keep in mind that it was thrown on 4th and short with plenty of time left on the clock. I'm fairly certain that Lehigh was expecting something much shorter that higher % to keep the drive alive. Ironically, they chose a play that left too much time on the clock, :-)

Why are my comments double posting? They aren't that good. :-)

Sometimes if your computer is 'slow' and doesn't immediately send, you may instinctively click again...then, again, maybe not!
