Jumping the gun. Decade has one more year to run. Why is everyone saying we're starting a new decade? Think about it. 1-10, 11-20, 21-30...So 2001-2010, 2011-2020, 2021-2030..The Julian calendar stars with 1 as does the AD. When you are born, we don't say you are 1. Your first birthday is AFTER you have lived one year.

Regardless, I like the effort.

There's a mistake with Game #7 on the list - that game against Penn was played on September 17, 2016, not September 24th. (Lehigh hosted Princeton and beat the Tigers 42-28 on September 24th that year.)

I attended games #2 and #6 on the list (personally I think the Towson playoff win should rank #1; it was one of the best football games I've ever seen), as well as one of the honorable mention games (Central Connecticut State in 2013).

The Towson win is easily my favorite memory of the decade! The energy that night was awesome! I still remember when they started playing "Don't Stop Believing" late in the game and the crowd started singing. There was a great Lehigh alumni gathering/tailgate before the game too. Definitely one of the best memories I've had attending a Lehigh game.

It was definitely weird having the Lehigh section right next to the Towson students.

Absolutely! Groome made two awesome plays in that sequence! That was a special defense!

Yes the goal line stand at Laughyette was spectacular. Of course, Leotard alums blame Frankasaurus for his pigheaded mentality of repeated shots into the Brown Wall. I agree that, individually, it was the best defensive play of any Lehigh football playrer in recent memory. The goal line stand against JMU in the NCAA playoffs has to qualify as the greatest defensive series ever played...stopping the Dukes 6 straight times inside our two yard line and getting hosed by the refs.

Here's the 2010 goal-line stand! Groome's 2nd and 3rd down stops definitely reminds me of LaVar Arrington's time at PSU.

This goal-line stand and the 1998 one that preserved the shutout against Layatte were epic. The 1998 stop setup Ron Jean's 90+ yard TD run a couple of plays later.
