Spring Practice

Back-to-back PL champs 2016 and 2017.... but need to get back to relevance in the national FCS scene.

I don't understand. Today is the day that transfers needed to apply by. There is still the review and acceptance process before there is any transfer announcement....no?

I really have no idea how the process works.

I just read up on it. Not at all complicated altho LU advises applying 2 weeks prior to deadline. 5/1 is the final decision date. Transfers are about 3% of student population. If there was a timely application, we wont hear of it until an acceptance.

Several Lehigh coaches (not football) have told me that transfer to Lehigh can be difficult in that many college courses don't transfer to Lehigh. Sometimes our best shot is a grad student or one who transfers early.

Need a minimum of 30 credits to even qualify for an application. LU is very picky as to what courses it will accept.

I remember my daughter, who went to Bucknell, had changed her major so her physics was out of sequence. So she took physics at Lehigh while at home for the summer and got a 93 or 'A'..Bucknell would only give her a "P" and not allow the points in her GPA. Really?

They can be petty. I had to take an English course after frosh year. Took an incomplete at LU due to surgery. Went to NYU. Got an A. Had to petition the Head of the English Depr to even get it accepted for credit. No credit for the A tho.

That's what happens when you send your kids to Bucknell :-)
