COMMIT #3 Blake. Hartman RB

Back-to-back PL champs 2016 and 2017.... but need to get back to relevance in the national FCS scene.

Sure hope so....the young man has an opportunity to get a world class education AND be All League and possibly an All American.

Couldn't agree more. Of course I'm biased.

Everyone picks their college for different reasons. The parallels with Dom Bragalone though are pretty amazing to me. Two running backs who put up eye-boggling #s in HS. They were about the same size, Both are fast and strong' although Dom may have tested off the charts. Yet both of them in terms of the FBS only received a couple of PWO offers, Dom from Rutgers and nearby Penn State and Blake from Cincinnati and nearby WVU.

The problem for both is running style IMHO. They are both straight ahead power backs who did great damage in the open. They both had outstanding OLs and picked their holes well. The FBS is looking for "twitch", the ability to change direction on a dime. Penn State gave their scholarship to a kid from my HS named Barkley. Chances are very good that if he had chosen the bright lights of Penn State Dom would hardly have seen the field. Instead, he took the full ride at a high academic school, started immediately, and became an All-American. I'm pretty sure he had no regrets.

I hope Blake's priorities align themselves the same way. I'm pretty darn sure, he will have no regrets either.

Happy Thanksgiving everyone!!

It looks like the only thing that could stop Blake this year was a microbe. His season is now over but a heck of a season it was.

Congratulations to the young man for all he accomplished.
