From HSSN

Lavelle (6-1, 195), a Lehigh recruit who also mans a defensive back position, has proven to be a potent catalyst this season, leading the team in scoring, receiving, kick returns, punt returns and, on defense, tackles, unassisted tackles and tackles for loss.

Maybe I'm nuts.....but I wouldn't mind seeing him at 6'1" 220 and playing outside LB.

Speed, agility, takes good angles and likes the contact.

Interestingly, although every account I read ha him in the secondary, Connor was 2nd team all-conference as an OLB.
so you're not nuts :-)

One of my pet peeves however when our defense was playing so badly is that I thought we were undersized at almost every position. Lavelle reportedly (for what that's worth) runs a 4.5 40. Right now, he seems to have all the skill sets (including great hands) to be that full sized SS. I also like DBs that have a lot of experience as a WR. They seem to understand the opponent better. Just my opinion.
