Game attendance

Back-to-back PL champs 2016 and 2017.... but need to get back to relevance in the national FCS scene.

Game attendance

Post by ngineer » Thu Mar 04, 2021 11:34 pm

Any word anywhere about whether a restricted number of attendees allowed in Goodman for the games? With the new arena restrictions at 20% that would be 3,200 of the seats. Seems to me they could offer the season ticket holders first dibs and go from there.

I got an email a week or two ago indicating that there would be no fans and that my season ticket deposit would be be carried over for the fall season. Of course, if we learned anything, it's that nothing is certain. Much of Lehigh's decision making has been predicated on state guidelines, which has been loosened since that email.

Just a thought, but by telling students that only season ticket holders can come to the games, we may finally get students to want to go to games. :-)

Yes, our website said that only players' parents would be given access at the present. However, it also said that if the positivity rate stays low, then students might be allowed. Nothing said about alums....Hell, we support the program better than than the students.

Governors rule should allow 2400 in Goodman.

I could see Alumni getting inthe game while the students party outside :D :D :D

70's?

I use to work with a guy who graduated around 1997. He was in charge of his frat's parties at goodman. He told me he was at every game, in the lot, but never saw one.

I would rather the students attend the games, but I doubt they will.

Opportunity to make my suggestions. Light the Stadium. Light the parking lots. Light the North lot. North Lot Student only. Put gates there so to leave the lot after say the third quarter, a driver needs to pass a sobriety test, No one Sober enough to drive, The car stays the nights. Kids will com in, go to the game, start partying at 11:00 pm (or 8:00 pm with a 4:30 start)and drink until 4:00 AM. Crawl into a sleeping bag. Get up at the crack of noon. Cops are there to keep kids from driving drunk, and to keep misdemeanor 3s from turning into felonies. And maybe a couple of student EMTs there ( i assume there are still student EMTs)

With the relatively limited size of our roster, I actually thought you meant something else at first :-)

Either way, you are right on!
