Ayir Asante COMMIT #1

Back-to-back PL champs 2016 and 2017.... but need to get back to relevance in the national FCS scene.

Great article. Ayir looks to have a big upside given his maturation in junior year. Imagine if he is as good as Jorge over some time.

It will be interesting to see if St. Peters usesAsanate the same way they used Potoreal in his senior season. I believe Jorge returned kicks and punts and was used in the backfield often as well as his role in the slot. They seem to possess the same size and skill set.

Nice start to his senior season
4 receptions for 103 yds and 2TD
1 carry for 15 yds

Looks like they are using him just like Portereal

I believe Ayir was carried off the field during his second game after scoring another TD. No weight on his left foot/leg.

Ayir led St.Peters to a stunning upset over Bergen Catholic, ranked at #5 in the country.
