Matthew Machalik Commit #3

Back-to-back PL champs 2016 and 2017.... but need to get back to relevance in the national FCS scene.

Matthew Machalik Commit #3

Dual threat QB from Papmerton PA. Terrific athlete. Believe he had offers from Navy, Laf and a few others... somebody more internet savvy then me can confirm offers. Good kid, hard worker ..had good camps and his coaches think he would have gotten more D1 offers.

Check out both the QB and FS videos to get a sense of his athleticism.

He reminds me of HC's QB Matt Saluka.

An ideal QB for Hunt's Gate offense. A running QB who can pass . He may be more like Shafnisky tho. I wouldn't complain 😊

Another Shafnisky would be a welcome addition. The Morning Call article:

Matt is having an incredible year. Are we sure he's going to stick with his commitment? Sadly, I have serious doubts....

His chances of playing professional football are pretty slim. He has a free ride to the school ranked number 14 by the Wall Street Journal. He has a chance to play close to home on a grass field, in one of the nicest FCS stadiums in the country. Why would he think about going anywhere else?

The increased risk inherent to Junior offers Lehigh has been on both sides of flips. Andy disliked them but recruiting much different today

. Now we give out more Junior offers than the total # of offers usual under Andy.
All we can do is hope Matt has a great season with no injuries.
