New Position for former LU Coach Lembo

Back-to-back PL champs 2016 and 2017.... but need to get back to relevance in the national FCS scene.

Congratulations, Pete!! They probably still remember the beating Lehigh put on them back in 2003, which at the time was a 24 regular season winning streak ;) Best wishes and keep warm!

SUNY-Buffalo just upgraded. Lembo did a good job elevating Ball State when he was there. Lembo has a recruiting reach from Miami to Boston and out west to St. Louis and Chicago. I suspect Buffalo can get very good in the MAC in a hurry under Lembo. Lembo knows how to win!

Lembo's first game as head coach of Buffalo? Vs Lafayette on August 24th! The PL has won their last two encounters with the Bulls while Lembo has lost his two battles (2004 and 2005) with the 'Pards! Something will have to give in Amherst, NY!

Yes, the 2005 loss to Laughyette was a killer..."The Big Hurt" as their TB ran a wheel route down the far sideline and at the goal line out DB mis-timed his leap and the ball just went over his fingers into Hurt's hands in the end zone. Meanwhile, I recall our DE, Gregorek, being virtually tackled as he closed in on the QB's drop back and the ref did nothing. One of the worst gut-punch losses to the Leotards. Hopefully, it gives Pete some motivation!
