Recruit Class

Back-to-back PL champs 2016 and 2017.... but need to get back to relevance in the national FCS scene.

If all that is true, Perri will most likely be under center, certainly early in the season. Then the 2 young QBs will have a chance to showcase their talents in practice.

Unless Hunt wants to change the entire offense, Johnson has the advantage. As good an athlete that Machalik is completing 49% of your passes in your senior season at the 4A level doesn't merit the change.

Hayden Johnson on the other hand completed 76% of his passes for 49 TDs and 0 interceptions at the 6A level seems more college ready.

One is a running QB that can throw, the other is a throwing QB that can run. Do we eventually want to run an offense like Shafnisky's or Mayes'.

Agree Johnson more likely to take the slot. Matt will get his shot. Wouldn't be surprised if Hunt ser him up in a Wildcat set. Must remember Gate's O emphasized a running QB who could pass a bit.
Matt is a superior athlete who could start at WR ,S. No matter he will be on the field st some postion.
