Alex had surgery today. Successful . but per his tweet he is not back until 2019. Damn. He was set as starting LT. Not clear what the injury is. Huge hole to fill now. No pun intended.

Fournier Curlin and O'Carroll. Fournier preseason All PL. Curlin my bet. He was neck and neck with O'Hara prior to injury. No other upperclass OTs. Fris and Rivera are best coming in.

Alex tore his Achilles.

Looks like we will be grooming some young lineman earlier than anticipated.

always seem to have a lot of OL injuries, if memory serves me (big if at my age) almost every year we have a FR starting at some point in the season, Andy always recruits a lot of OL, guess he knows the importance of numbers there

I would be surprised not to see at least one of the frosh on the 2 deep at OT. The remaining upperclass OL are all interior linemen.Fris and Rivera are the most heavily recruited OTs coming in.

Don't look forward to going into Navy with a young line....the other issue w navy is their cut blocking....this could kill whatever progress D has been making with injuries.

Very true. We dont need a replay of Yale and Navy gives everyone fits with their blocking schemes.

Are turnover and lack of numbers in the football and basketball programs causes for concern? Is this the new normal?
