scrimmage #2
scrimmage #2
looked like the first O could move the ball some, but D was eating up the 2's and 3s, albeit I only saw the stuff on twitter, maybe datruph was there and can expound?
Re: scrimmage #2
I hope so. Also caught twitter feed this AM. D clearly ahead of O. Lots of INTS by D vs 2 and 3 QBs. Kelsey worked with Shoup today.McCloskey interview interesting. We are running multiple D packages this year. Depending on set it appears that he was playing CB and R at times. He noted the O was a work in progress. Seemed to indicate O not quite in sync yet.
Hopefully there will be a fuller report later today.

Post scrimmage comments by Andy . OL depth is his takeaway from scrimmage. We dont have any right now. Frosh are going to have to step up much sooner than we thought. Just from little bits of of info given Bianchini and Bibbens look to be 1s outside. Other than Richardson, no mention of any of the slots. 2ndary definitely our strong unit. Noticed in scrimmage videos that Lynn plays inside and at end.Walker and Woetzel seem to be at the 1s at LB. Well only a few weeks.until first 2 deep.

Re: scrimmage #2
It's camp and these practice scrimmages are used so the coaches see all the players they have on the roster. I wouldn't worry too much about how many INT happen when a lot freshman are on the field.
Brisson knows how to use his offensive tools. He has a strong backfield and good receivers. I think you definitely see an extended offensive playbook with the talent we have this season and even the TE is targeted more often if Brad has less time in the pocket. From this point forward they start getting the 1s and 2s ready for St. Francis.

Jorge should be the slot guy, although I have heard nothing about him, is he active in practice?
Re: scrimmage #2
Saw both Luke and Christiano in photo gallery.. Dont think it means all that much. Camps are less for veteran starters than for kids vying for positions. Focus at least on O seems to be on individual skills players and the OL unit. Christiano and Portorreal are set. A large group going for the rest of the spots. Bibbens, Bianchini Kelsey Dambach Falcone at wide outs. Richardson at Slot.
OL is turning out to be a more major issue with the loss of Motley and O'Carroll.
