To Lehigh football coach Andy Coen, Dom Bragalone is more than a running back, he’s “Captain America.”

“I really think of him that way because he’s so humble,” Coen said of his All-American senior. “He’s so well-spoken. When he came here, he didn’t say much. He was quiet and withdrawn. As soon as he got involved with this team, he opened up and has been unbelievable.”

Bragalone was a consensus first team All-American last year after leading the Football Championship Subdivision in rushing yards (1,388) and touchdowns (18). He averaged 126.2 rushing yards per game.

He enters his senior season with 3,567 career yards, an average of 5.6 yards per carry, and 39 touchdowns.
