Holy Cross

Back-to-back PL champs 2016 and 2017.... but need to get back to relevance in the national FCS scene.

Notes up. No changes on O
A lot of changes on D.
Lynn back at DE
Rybka up at 2 at DT
Floyd moved to 1 at R McCloskey at 2
Seighman now at 1 at LB
Buckrham now at 2 at both CBs
McCloskey still at 1 at S
I note that the 2 deep contains 11 seniors and a 5 th year.
9 juniors. All the rest are underclassmen.

Weather forecast not very good either. In the 40's with rain or some flurries. Not conducive for offense...as if anything this year has been.

Hell, it may slow Cross down. We are already slowed down.

Man, has this team quit in all three phases! Defense doesn't even want to break a fingernail. I'd settle for arm tackling at this point. It looks like they are intentionally avoiding contact. The offensive line is just awful. Mayes and Bragalone look like they are at least trying. If these are the best twenty-two player on the team, this year is not going to be an anomaly. Most don't look like good high school players.

If Coen has an ounce of decency, he resigns after this game. He has totally lost this team. Perhaps, if it falls on his sword, that might infuse some enthusiasm at this point. Probably wishful thinking, but what's left?

Quote of the day from Coen's pregame interview. "Team has a really good week of practice".

Over my 50+ years of LU football I've seen a lot of bad and really bad teams. First time I've ever seen a team give up as totally as this teams seems to have done. I've watched much less talented teams than this one lose big and often but they never gave up.

At least the "L" logos on many Lehigh hats and apparel items are accurate for this year's Mountain Hawks team.
