Bucknell

Back-to-back PL champs 2016 and 2017.... but need to get back to relevance in the national FCS scene.

Bucknell

For those still interested notes are up.
No change on O.
D Lynn at DE Seighman still at 1 at LB. Walker backing Woetzel
Cundiff at R backed by Butler.

If you havent read LFN's take on LU team right now, click on the title. Well worth the read.

Depth chart to smithereens. Might as well throw the names in a hat and toss it in the air. Could it be any worse? Not supposed to rain Saturday, so maybe we'll get 3-4,0000 to show up? Sometimes train wrecks and fires draw a crowd. It will be interesting just to see how 'into' the game the players are. At Holy Cross, they came out looking like they were forced to walk to Worcester. Crusaders were hyped and ready, and it showed.

The Bison are coming to town with a freshman quarterback making his first career college start. Should be a good game.

He is making his first start out of necessity. Starting QB Logan Bitikofer, who had a very good game vs LC, suffered a serious knee injury near the end of that game. Bison have had an abnormal number of injuries to starters this year, including their top two RB's and their All-PL LB. In total, 9 starters have suffered serious injuries.

Geez and I thought we had it bad with injuries this year. We havent been hit as badly as last year but we have lost our top 3 OTs starting WR and starting LB.
Injuries may not hurt you too badly 137 as our team seems to have given up over the last 2 games.
Hopefully not ,but given Bison situation maybe we'll have a good game. God knows Lehigh disparately needs one.

Good reason to let Monaco show what he can do at the controls. Get ready for next year and see what we have.

If memory serves, guys playing their first games have had field days against LU in recent years.

But maybe this will be a close game before next week's blowout.

Bucknell 28, Lehigh 21

Hard to go that close after last week. Just a wild guess.

I'll take Lehigh and 50 next week.

Havent looked at Bison notes yet. But, dont be surprised if the frosh is Murray likely the best QB Susan has recruited in a long time.

I'd be very surprised, since Bucknell has no Murray on the roster at any position. Starter is Tarrin Earle, who this time last year was playing for Montclair.

My bad 137. Brain spasm. Earle is who I meant. Thanks for the heads up.
