Nothing against Mr. Hall, but don’t we have enough 5’9 DBs? To me, if they’re not 5’11 or up to guard 6’3 WRs, and who can tackle 220-pound RBs, why bother?

Cover corners are not easy to find especially at our level. Surprisingly we have a lot of good cover DBs. Our problem is that too many of them dont know how to tackle. Our D last year had a lot of issues but #1 was tackling. Tackling is more a matter of proper technique rather than size. There wasnt a single game last year that didnt have run plays where the RB ran through arm tackles for big gains.
