I don't think that it is any secret that next season is the best opportunity to make a splash nationally with the vast majority of our starters returning. The question becomes where do we go for scoring when the combination of Pettit, Spence and Rai graduate next year. Here are some possibilities on the horizon.

2018

Matt Marker

69 goals 46 assists 115 points this year
179 goals 145 assists 324 point sin his career

Jesse West

192 goals 125 assists 317 points in his career

Lax today is geared towards offense. Nice to see goal scorers Marker has unbelievable numbers.
Tend to be more concerned with D and ball control. Looking forward to seeing how Douglas fares next year. Gaffney gives us a great FOGO for the next 2 years. We have seen the damage the lack of a decent FOGO can wreak. Hope coach has another one in his sights.

Good points by all. Chick, Bouhall and Rimol have been the crux of our defense for a long time now and we have them all back next year. I'm not quite as concerned about the defense though because of the quality of the young talent we have to tap into. Spence in goal and Leggett as a LSM will be manning those positions for 3 more years. Douglas was the Defensive MVP in NJ last year and has shown he can play at this level. He too will be solid. Judah Hicks who will entering the program next year has the physical abilities to be as good if not better than all of them. Unfortunately it appears he may have missed his senior year to injuries. He should be well prepared when this group graduates.
