A better Pard squad than we've seen in a while . 4-4 after losing 3 in a row.

Any word on Bouhall's injury?

My first "in person" lacrosse experience. Now I understand the growth of this sport. In person it's CRAZY! And this was certainly the right first game to pick. Pards get splattered. They have a very young team. As they get better, the league gets better.

Cassesse got to play his squad. A lot of fr and so players getting experience. PL is tough again this year. Other than Loyola we have already beaten top teams in the league.

Lehigh did a nice job not looking past an overmatched Lafayette squad. Only negative was the seven penalties.

Tough stretch of games coming up with Navy, BU and Loyola. Navy got crushed by Loyola over the weekend so Saturday’s game just got tougher for the Hawks. Navy needed no additional motivation after the PL semifinal loss last year.

Unfortunately the word is that Bouhall is lost for the season with a torn MCL and PCL. Hagenberger did a nice job as his replacement yesterday but Bouhall will be missed against the good PL teams. A shame that he along with Pettit lost their senior seasons. Who knows how good this team could have truly been?

Damn. That is a shame. Losing 2 top players hurts. We do have the depth this year but cant expect an underclassman, even if excellent, to replace a senior star.
Well, I'll wonder what we might have been after the season which will tell us what we turned out to be.
Optimistic.

The good news is that a number of this year’s #8 ranked recruiting class are seeing a lot of meaningful minutes against very tough competition which bodes well for future seasons. When you lose two All Patriot League players (top returning scorer and best cover guy) that is hard to replicate. This team deserves a ton of credit for not quitting after a rough start and all of the injuries.

Not looking past Navy or BU, but it will be interesting to see how the coaching staff elects to defend Pat Spencer of Loyola. Bouhall would have been the guy covering him if he was not hurt. They need to figure out a way to shut him off or it could be a long afternoon.
