BU 18. Loyola 11

And we beat BU. Transitive logic kinda shaky but that W shows we can beat Loyola.if we play a complete game. We've a couple of WTF games. Losing our best scorer hurt us early. We have adapted. Now we just have to win out. Yeah thats all. :D :D

Unfortunately we have not been competitive with Loyola except for a one goal loss several years back and the first half of last year's Patriot League final. We have had no answers for containing Spencer and our offense under performs when we play them. Loyola is not a particularly good defensive team as evidenced by BU putting up 18 goals against them on Saturday. That said, we do have BU's number, losing to them only once since they started their program. They are playing really well now, however, and if we are able to hold onto the second seed in the PL tournament, we most likely will face them again in the semifinals. They will be a much tougher out than Army in my opinion.

First things first - beat Bucknell on Saturday. I believe one more win in the PL will secure the second seed. On paper, we should beat both Bucknell and Holy Cross, however, HC is playing well and it will be much tougher playing on the road. We cannot afford another effort like the one last week vs. RMU!

Yes. The stinker versus RMU could be a big strike against us getting an at-large bid, but one game at a time. Need to win out to get the #2 seed.

Unfortunately there is no way this team gets an at large bid after losses to Hofstra and RMU. The only route to the NCAA tournament is a Patriot League Championship!
