Lehigh 5-3 at the half. D is still sloppy. Team seems a bit flat again. NJIT really out hustling us too often. FOGO winning most FOs but not getting much help by the wings.

Some perspective. Army beat these guys 19-1

17-8 Final
We need to sort out our inside D. Team has to play much better vs Navy next week.

Another sluggish start until the team responded in the third quarter. I agree that the defense gives up too many easy goals in close. Hopefully it is a case of playing down to the level of competition because they are going to need another gear against Navy and most of the Patriot League. Most of NJIT's goals came in garbage time in the 4Q although being up only 5-3 at half was not good. Hopefully the kid from NJIT who went down in the 3Q will be okay. Hard to see what happened to him but it is always scary when a player doesn't get up.

Didnt sete him get hit. A jumble of players. Looked like he just buckled. Knee?

Inside D is not coordinated it seems. NJIT jammed inside a lot. D seemed hesitant. Overthinking? Rather than reacting. PL will be much tougher.

I believe it was his head. It may have been a stick right when he shot. That resulted in the Parker Kent's ejection and the 3 minute penalty that was non-releasable.
I totally agree that we need to come out with a sense of urgency, not only defensively but offensively too. Many of our TOs happen during that opening time frame. I only watche dhalf of the game but there were way too many opening in our D. We need to slide much better.
