Preseason

Post by RichH » Fri Jan 18, 2019 3:53 pm

Tired of football drama. Even recruiting.
Lax is almost here. Lax Network has LU with the 3rd best attack unit. Loyola has the top ranked unit. :o
We have one of the top FOGOs nationally. And we have a good young goalie . Chick is an A-A and Bouhall are a solid D
Middies will tell our year.

Inside Lax has us at #11
Lax Magazine at #13

If Lehigh is ever going to make a run in the National tournament, this should be the year. We literally return all of our starters except for Strain in the MF. Six of our projected starters are seniors and we are ading one of the top recruiting classes in the nation.

One of the interesting names in that class may be Judah Hicks. He was considered one of the best defenders in the country. Very fast and a ball hawk and then was injured at the beginning of his senior year. Our 3 defenders are all seniors, so this may be a year of adjustment to the college game but you can't teach speed.

Hicks was a standout at Moorestown High School (NJ), a career which saw him garner NJILCA first team All-State and first team All-State Group 3 (New Jersey). Ranked No. 100 in his class by Recruiting Rundown, Hicks was an Under Armour Underclass All-American and first team All-South Jersey honoree. He was also voted as most athletic in his high school. Was All-Phillylacrosse South Jersey as a junior.

I do dream of Hicks and Douglas pairing up. Coach may keep Douglas as a LSM tho.
Lehigh has always been a scheme team. We are starting to getvmore and more athletic. Gonna be an interesting year.

I saw Lehigh preseason ranked at #10 by someone who does rankings called "Quint". Was very high on Lehigh's attack and experience. should be a exciting season.
