2018-2019 schedule....

Young team returns in 2018-2019 with tons of promise. Can they get back to the NCAA Tournament?

Regular season, yes. But to beat the full season record, they would need to fly to an NCAA or NIT site. In 2005-06, they had the following flights:

- Round trip to Chicago (DePaul)
- Flight to San Fran (Santa Clara Tournament)
- Flight from San Fran to Durham (Duke)
- Flight home from Durham
- Round trip to Dallas (two NCAA games)

At present, this year's flights haven't topped that, since the St. Mary's game is just a stopover on the way to Hawaii. If you count pre-season flights as well it is a different story since the team is going to three European countries in August.

I imagine it depends on when some alums put up the money. Most European trips are funded by donations. If some alum is willing to put up $100k to finance it, it's hard to believe it wouldn't happen.

Missouri
Miami
West Virginia

Tough games, and not the easiest arenas to play in, especially WVU and Missou. Huggins and Larranaga no picnic. Cuonzo Martin just getting going at Missou, maybe they are down slightly.

We're playing Kansas State, not Missou

Thx, I misread the string. That's worse than Missou. Bruce Weber, and they won 25 games last year, and there is nothing else to do in Manhattan Kansas other than watch basketball.

Conference schedule

Note that a number of these games will see changed dates due to TV scheduling. Last year I believe there were about 10 games whose dates were changed.

We open the season in West Long Branch, NJ on Tuesday, November 6th against Monmouth. You will recall we fell to the Hawks out of the MAAC by 8 in what was Game 2 our of campaign last year. Monmouth ended the year with an 11-20 record and a KenPom Ranking of 183.
