He has 8 Div 1 offers according to 247 Sports and some good credentials so I would be surprised if he was a PWO.
The weird thing is that I haven't seen Lehigh mentioned anywhere so this must have been done suddenly.

While you are sleuthing though, I believe Fran got a verbal today in softball but I didn't get an introduction. Maybe you can find out who it is.

This is apparently our last spot for 2020. Should we be concerned that we have not gotten a tall forward (over 6'6") since Andree? Out side of centers Karnik and Lynch (and Lieb if he ever plays) we are really short.

thought J Wilson was 6'7"

not that I am concerned about forwards at those heights

J Wilson is 6'7"....... according to roster. But still not a lot of height. Bucknell has 2 at 6'9"....3 at 6'8", Colgate has
3 at 6'8"... 1 at 6'9" ...and 1 at 6'10". Hopefully we're really quick and feisty this year, and into the future.

not afraid of big slow guys, think you counted some centers as forwards, not that changes your premise that some PL front lines are a little taller than ours

Is there a link for this commitment? I don't see anything on the internet, and there is no mention on Verbal Commits. On his twitter feed, he says "Lehigh basketball" on the top, but has no tweet about his commitment. He still has an offer from Charleston Southern pinned at the top.

Fwiw, Verbal Commits and his own twitter account show him with one scholarship offer, i.e. Charleston Southern. VC is usually much more reliable than 247.

I'm a tad skeptical as well. The only notice of the commitment is shown in the caption box to the left of Luke's name on his page at Verbal Commits:

Steve SwainCongrats to 2020 #NSRbasketball Luke Traina for committing to Lehigh University! https://t.co/h0Ls7c3Q2J

Dated 21 hours ago...... But nothing anywhere else. Last tweet from him (9/23) talks about his Charleston Southern offer, but no others mentioned.

Yes, there is only that tweet, but also the two words "Lehigh Basketball" below his name on his twitter account. For that reason, I think it's likely he committed - since I am not sure what he would gain by a hoax. But it is very strange that he has not tweeted about it - as 99.9% of recruits do - and that there has been no news about it from the press, the internet, his AAU team, or his HS coach. One thing I am confident about is that he didn't have most of the offers shown on 247. Very doubtful he would have tweeted out a Charleston Southern offer but ignored offers from better schools.

Steve Swain, the person who put out the tweet on Traina's recruitment, is a "scout" for one of the pay recruiting services that charges a fee in return for trying to get a player's name out in front of college coaches. Traina was employing that company, so they theoretically should have accurate info.
