A W would be great. For me, i'd really like to see Lieb be able to get on the floor for at least a few minutes. He has been through so much and perservered.

A win here would say a great deal about the team well beyond this year. The member of the class of 2023 are not freshman anymore. Can we play a complete game against the historically dominant Bison? Its time to "stand up and be counted" for forty minutes.

And yes it would be nice to get Jack in for a token appearance.

W 69 -60
That was fun. Starters played very good D and worked the ball in on O. Lynch and Karnik had their way vs Bison. And we closed out the game.
Karnik 17p. 6r
Lynch. 17p 7r
MWilson 10 r
Foul line was our friend 17p to 5 for Bucknell

Although I'm really happy for the win and I like the experiment of playing Karnik and Lynch together, I have this nagging feeling that we didn't win the game as much as Bucknell lost it.

Bucknell which shoots about 35% in this age of the extended 3 pt shot took 32 3s and only made 7. The problem for me was that we played almost no perimeter defense. Most of their shots were completely open looks. That won't get it done in the PL Tournament.

Agreed. Hopefully this "twin towers" was employed specifically for The Bison. With two plodding bigs on defense we snuffed out a lot in the paint, but we were very short on perimeter defense. I kept thinking Bucknell would find a way to take advantage of this. And they did late in the game. Offensively we were fairly effective working it into James & Nic in the first half. 2nd half we forced it in too much when it wasn't there. I still like just one big at a time. Much more versatile both offensively and defensively. J. Wilson provides plenty of board help to go with James or Nic. And Jeameril can play defense on almost anyone.

Loosely officiated, being charitable. Very rough and tumble game. Lots of pushin', shovin', elbowin', and bodies flyin'. Not very pretty at times but the hustle and resolve were there.

Is Wednesday the last home game? With Loyola way ahead of Lafayette today, we will need a win against Boston Wednesday and a win Saturday in Baltimore @ Loyola to escape 9th place.
